I absolutely positively can NOT take it anymore.
It is REALLY REALLY REALLY wearing on my last nerve. It makes me want to crawl out of my skin. And she's doing it non-stop.
How do you make it stop?!

No clue. Let me know if you get any advice. Reagan was doing it nonstop while she was teething. It's way better but she still does it, especially when she's not wanting to eat. It's like fingernails on a chalk board!
I wish I knew Finnian has been doing it and its horrible. He does it very loud and when you tell him stop he does it even louder and laughes.
Chloe grinds her teeth as well, but mostly when she's sleepy or sleeping. Several doctors have told me it relates to anxiety, but sometimes she giggles about it, so I also think it has to do with some sort of sensory input that they crave. Have you tried the p's and q's? They can grind on those all day long, without making the annoying noise! Maybe look into those. When I did the 'Try this Tues Equipment' post, THREE mom's recommended them! So apparently they're pretty fabulous. They will be adorning Chloe's stocking this year. And they're only $8! Woo hoo!

My oldest grinds her teeth. She is now 8 years old. I have found that the childrens mouthguards that the football players well seem to work great and they are only $1. I don't know if Kendall could wear these but it is worth a try.
I don't have any advice about teeth grinding (we have two who like to do it, but just sometimes). I just wanted to say that I love the picture of her! She is too cute!

Oh dear I don't know how you stand it. Anything that has to do with teeth grinding, forks touching teeth, etc drives me BATTY!!!!! I am so sorry, ugh, hope you find a solution

If you think it is sensory, find an occupational therapist to give you a sensory diet for her mouth. There are all kind of vibrating toys that might help. If it is from anxiety, do you think her doctor would give her a mild anti anxiety med? Grinding her teeth can cause her a lot of pain in the long run. :(

milo grinds his teeth...one of his front teeth is worn down a little from how much he does it....luckily the noise doesn't bother me, although i wish he would stop for his little teeth's sake...i asked his dentist if there was anything we could do and he didn't have any suggestions since milo can't really wear a mouth guard, but he said we shouldn't be too worried, he will probably outgrow it.
